Architecture association celebrates 2024 award honorees
The Grand Rapids Chapter of the American Institute of Architects celebrated several architects, firms, projects, and individuals during its 2024 Honor Awards Celebration. The 2024 Honor Awards Celebration was held at the GLC Live at 20 Monroe in downtown Grand Rapids on October 30.
Through its annual Honor Awards Program, the AIA Grand Rapids Chapter continues to recognize excellence in architecture throughout the region. The program promotes the value of good design and encourages members to pursue excellence through their work and service to the community.
Award entries were once again encouraged to view their submissions through the AIA Framework for Design Excellence, a set of ten guiding principles designed to inspire architects to create a zero-carbon, equitable, resilient, and healthy built environment.
