Pickle & Pin will hold its grand opening on Saturday, January 4. Located at 662 Leonard NW, the business houses three regulation-size pickleball courts and three state-of-the-art golf simulators in one location.

The owners of Pickle & Pin, Zachary Verhulst, Blaine Westerlund, and Crystal Lettinga, renovated the more than century-old vacant building in 2024, bringing new commercial activity to the West Leonard district. Patrons will be able to rent pickleball court and/or golf simulator time by the hour. They will also be able to receive lessons from certified professionals or join leagues.

“Our goal was to provide a fun place for people to gather, regardless of their age, gender, or skill level, so that they could enjoy these activities at a location that’s easy to access,” said Westerlund. “We’re thrilled with the welcome we have received from nearby businesses and the initial response from people expressing interest in renting our courts and simulators.”

Pickle & Pin offers a selection of refreshments, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and limited snack food menu. To celebrate its grand opening, the company is offering special pricing during its first weekend of business, with pickleball court rentals available for $5.00 per hour per person and golf simulator rentals for $10.00 per hour per person.
