Grace's Table, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support, resources, and advocacy for teen moms, announced the grand opening of its newly renovated residential space at 835 Richmond St NW in Grand Rapids. The community is invited to an open house and ribbon-cutting celebration on May 15 from 7 to 10 a.m., with the official ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m.

The newly renovated facility features updated living spaces, a community room for workshops and gatherings, and a childcare area to support young moms as they work towards their goals. With this expansion, Grace's Table aims to empower more teen moms in Grand Rapids to move from feeling scared and isolated to feeling hopeful and equipped for the future.

"Teen moms often struggle with feelings of isolation, anxiety, and lack of support as they navigate the challenges of motherhood," said Lisa Anderson, Executive Director, Grace's Table. "We understand these challenges and have built a supportive community of mentors, family advocates, and mental health professionals to equip teen moms with the life skills, education resources, and confidence they need to

For the renovation, Grace's Table partnered with Bruce Heys Builders and Mindi Freng Designs to convert the space into affordable housing for young mothers and their families.

"Grace's Table isn't just a gathering place for teen moms – it's a launch pad for generational change," said Andy Soper, Director of Programs and Operations, Grace's Table. "Our new program gives moms time to breathe, dial in their goals, and pursue them from a place of security and connection."

Continental Breakfast will be provided at the open house. For more information, visit https://www.gracestable.com/.
