Holland-based indie musician Andrea Jenkins is garnering airplay on seven international radio stations across France, the UK, Belgium, and Mexico for her song "Royaltea."

The inspiration behind "Royaltea" came from a mix-up with the online news magazine Newsbreak.

"They had my picture with a different Andrea Jenkins biography. The complete opposite of me in every way. So my song is actually a metaphor for that bizarre situation," said Jenkins.

Jenkins' music journey began in choir, where she discovered her passion and started writing songs at age 12.

Her initial foray into the public eye came in 2014 when she uploaded dance videos onto YouTube purely for fun. This hobby led her to attend modeling school in 2010 at John Casablancas Centers in Tampa, Florida. She paused her career to focus on her family and returned to full-time modeling in 2019, working with local and national brands.

Jenkins was awarded "Best Solo Artist" in Revue Magazine's 2023 Best of the West reader poll. She is currently recording new music and writing a memoir scheduled to be released in 2024.

"Music is therapeutical," said Jenkins. "No matter what you are feeling, there is a song out there that matches your mood. I hope people can resonate with my songs and enjoy the upbeat tracks."
