Ottawa County led Michigan's ten largest counties in growth, expanding by 2.18 percent since 2020. Hudsonville consistently ranks among the top three fastest-growing communities within the county, as its population grows by 1 percent annually, now totaling nearly 8,000 residents.

"Recognizing the growing needs of Hudsonville residents, Holland Hospital is pleased to expand its services within this community, offering residents convenient access to primary care and advanced diagnostic services," said Michael Pawlak, Vice President of Regional Development, Holland Hospital. "Holland Hospital is proud to continue its commitment to helping ensure access to top-quality care for this growing community."

Michigan is facing a significant shortage of primary care providers (PCPs). According to the Graham Center for Policy Studies, the state is projected to need an additional 862 PCPs by 2030 to meet the growing demand for primary care services.

Primary care providers include Mary Mier, DO, Jennifer Bienz, PA, and Lauren Douma, PA, who are all accepting new patients.
