After 30 years of farming asparagus, cherries, apples, and other crops, Todd and Sarah Greiner of Todd Greiner Farms Packing LLC are selling more than 900 acres of farmland and farm equipment as they transition their business focus. The land will be offered in 20 parcels. The lineup of farm equipment includes more than 30 tractors and more than 30 trucks and trailers.

The real estate auction will occur on Friday, March 7, at 11 a.m. at the West Michigan Research Station, 5185 N. Oceana Dr., in Hart. The equipment auction will take place on Saturday, March 8, at 10 a.m. at 1938 W. Jackson Rd. in Hart. Online bidding for the equipment is available via Proxibid.com or EquipmentFacts.com.

The Greiners will concentrate their business efforts on marketing and selling Michigan asparagus, pumpkins, and other vegetables.

Todd Greiner recently shared his vision for the future in an interview with The Packer, stating, “By focusing on reducing our total acreage and focusing on sales and marketing, we can better target our investments in time and resources and add value to better serve Michigan’s growers and ensure that the exceptional products from our region, like asparagus, sweet corn, and pumpkins, continue to reach consumers nationwide.”
