Two experienced communications professionals have launched a new marketing business. Más Marketing + Co. (Más), led by Alyson Ramirez and Rae Lynn Humphreys, is a bilingual marketing agency with in-person hubs in Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Detroit, and San Francisco. Dedicated to championing small businesses and nonprofits led by women, Black, Brown, and Queer changemakers, Más provides services such as branding and identity, digital storytelling, community relations, and strategic fundraising.

"Más is more than a business—it's a movement born out of necessity and a desire for change," said Alyson Ramirez, Founder and Lead Multicultural Communications + Branding Strategist, Más. "When I launched MásPR in 2021, it was in response to the devastating closures of culturally rich and historic businesses during the pandemic. Many of these businesses thrived on word-of-mouth and I believe they could have survived if they had the resources to promote themselves on digital platforms."

Research shows that businesses with an established online presence consistently report higher revenues. During the pandemic, many businesses pivoted quickly to e-commerce platforms. However, a significant knowledge gap among business owners of color and women posed a significant barrier to adopting digital solutions.

"We embrace all kinds of identities and experiences—from gender and sexuality to disabilities, LGBTQIA+ communities, immigrant journeys, and those who speak English as a second language," said Rae Lynn Humphreys, Co-owner and Lead Copywriter + Creative Development Strategist at Más. "Our approach ensures DEI is embedded in every aspect of our work, truly reflecting and supporting the needs of our clients."

With its launch, Más is also proud to debut the first issue of ¿Qué Más?, a free quarterly multicultural magazine designed for nonprofit professionals, entrepreneurs, and community changemakers. The magazine offers valuable insights, resources, and strategies to help drive meaningful change. For more information, visit https://www.másmarketing.co/.
