The Downtown Holland Street Performer Series returns for its 2024 season on Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. June 13 through August 15. Musicians, jugglers, caricature artists, balloon twisters, dancers, magicians, and more are all invited to apply to participate. Gentex Corporation presents this year’s series to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary.

“As we look back at these past 50 years, Gentex has grown from a small fire protection business to a global technology company serving multiple industries,” said Craig Piersma, Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications, Gentex. “One constant throughout the years has been the support of the local community. Sponsoring the Street Performer Series is a great way to celebrate our golden anniversary together while saying ‘thank you’ to Holland and all of West Michigan.”

Performing artists interested in participating in the Gentex Street Performer Series should complete the online application at https://bit.ly/3WeNKzF. Applications are due by Friday, May 10. Performers who are approved will be emailed in late May with their performance dates and locations for the summer.

“Downtown Holland has been the recipient of Gentex’s generosity for well over a decade,” said Kara de Alvare, Marketing Coordinator, Downtown Holland. “They truly care about this community in so many ways and we’re so grateful for their continued support. We look forward to celebrating 50 years of business with them all summer long in Downtown Holland.”
