AIA Grand Rapids Announces New Leadership
AIA Grand Rapids, a local chapter of the American Institute of Architects, has announced the election of new leadership and board members for the 2024 term. Tod Stevens of Progressive AE has been elected as the new president, with Anne Doornbos from TowerPinkster serving as vice president. Steven Romkema of Fishbeck will assume the role of past president.
Joining the board this year are new members Sean Costello from Diekema Hamann Architecture & Engineering and Joe Harmon, from Fishbeck.
The Board of Directors also consists of Michael Belisle from The Design Forum as Treasurer, Ben Franceschi of Mathison | Mathison Architects, Eric Biller from Progressive AE serving as AIA Michigan Director 2024, Marie Arrington of TowerPinkster, Sarah Carter and Jenny Waugh from Fishbeck, and Matthew VanSweden from Foresight Management.
Located in Grand Rapids, AIA GR has been a cornerstone of the architectural profession in the region since 1960. The Chapter's primary mission is to support and advance the architecture profession within the community.
