Attorney joins Board of Directors for zoo

Varnum partner Tim Gordon has been appointed to the Board of Directors for John Ball Zoo. Gordon is a member of Varnum’s Business and Corporate Services Team, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, emerging companies and venture capital, and general corporate counseling and representation.

Gordon represents public and private U.S. and multinational companies, private equity firms, and venture funds in domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic investment transactions. He joined Varnum in 2021.

“In addition to Tim’s passion for the Zoo’s mission of saving wildlife and wild places, he brings an array of experience in business, which will be an asset to the Board as it makes important decisions on investments that will benefit both Kent County residents and visitors of John Ball Zoo,” said Peter D’Arienzo, CEO, John Ball Zoo.
