Four of West Michigan’s top culinary talents will prepare a four-course gourmet meal at the 23rd annual Feast for Kids on Tuesday, April 29 at 5:30 p.m. The fundraiser benefits Kids’ Food Basket (KFB) and will take place at Noto’s Old World Italian Dining, 6600 28th St. SE in Grand Rapids. The American Culinary Federation of Greater Grand Rapids Chefs’ 2024 Chefs of the Year will donate their time and expertise to support the event. This year’s featured chefs include Chef of the Year Kurt Kwiatkowski, Chef Professional Mick Rickerd, Junior Culinarian Cameron Weibel, and Chef Educator Jacob Bandstra.

These award-winning chefs and culinary students will work side by side to prepare dinner for 400 guests.

Hosted by KFB, the event raises funds to support access to healthy food, nutrition education, and agricultural initiatives for children in West Michigan. The evening will also include a silent auction, gift card roulette, complimentary bar, entertainment, and the opportunity to support KFB’s mission through a fund-a-need paddle raise.

Champion Force Athletics is the presenting sponsor of the event.

“We have had the incredible support of the ACF for all 23 years that KFB has been in operation, for which we are endlessly thankful,” said Tamara VanderArk-Potter, Vice President of Philanthropy, Kids’ Food Basket. “This year, our operations team has received more requests for service than ever before, but with the support of ACF and everyone who attends events like Feast for Kids, we can keep showing up and nourishing West Michigan’s future.”

All proceeds from the event will benefit Kids’ Food Basket’s work to increase access to healthy food, nutrition education and agricultural initiatives for West Michigan kids. For more information, visit kidsfoodbasket.org/feast-for-kids/.
