Hospital appoints Executive Director of fund development
Holland Hospital has appointed Abby Reeg as its new Executive Director of Fund Development. With a proven track record in major gift fundraising and nonprofit leadership, Reeg will be instrumental in advancing the hospital’s mission and strategic goals.

In her new role, Reeg will lead Holland Hospital’s fundraising efforts, ensuring long-term sustainability. Her key responsibilities include developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising plan, cultivating and soliciting major gifts, managing grant applications, and fostering strong relationships with donors and community stakeholders.
“This role brings me back to my hometown where my career began,” said Reeg. “It is an honor to grow relationships to benefit a high-quality and caring organization like Holland Hospital and I look forward to working with donors to impact the health of our community.”
Before joining Holland Hospital, Reeg served as the Director of Advancement and Donor Services at the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation. She has also held executive director roles at the Newaygo County Community Collaborative, the Child Abuse Council of Muskegon County, and a local chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Throughout her career, Reeg has consistently demonstrated success in fundraising, exceeding goals, and securing major gifts.
Reeg holds a master’s degree in organizational communication and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). She is a board member and program chair for the West Michigan Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and has been recognized for her volunteer service.
