The Zeeland Board of Public Works (BPW) has awarded four area organizations reimbursement grants as part of its Community Grant Program.

This year’s grants include $1,500 to Compassionate Heart Ministries to improve its building infrastructure, $2,500 to ZeeBus to improve access to books for students in the summer, $6,000 to Outdoor Discovery Center for its new rainscaping program, and $15,000 to City on a Hill for its CitySpark capital campaign.

“Each year as the grant applications are received, reviewed, and funded, we feel immensely hopeful for the future of Zeeland and its residents,” said Andrew Boatright, General Manager, Zeeland Board of Public Works. “Our vision is to see Zeeland thrive for years to come and we believe each of the above recipients will continue to further that vision.”

The Zeeland BPW Community Grant Program offers reimbursement grants totaling up to $25,000. The grants are designed to channel resources back into the community, fueling projects that enhance the quality of life for residents.
