The Grand Rapids Chamber has expanded its leadership team by appointing Rick Treur as Director of Leadership Programs and Sommer Jabbar as Director of Inclusion and Belonging. The hires are part of a restructuring of the Director of Talent position into two new roles.

"These two leaders give the Chamber a better structure for continued growth and deeper impact," said Rodney Savage, Vice President of Talent & Inclusion, Grand Rapids Chamber. "Rick and Sommer come to us with the experience and insights to drive the region's premier professional development and DEI programs."

Treur will oversee the Chamber's leadership development programs, including Leadership Grand Rapids. He has a background in public service, community engagement, and entertainment. He served at Calvin University in the Advancement Division for ten years as Director of the Annual Fund and Alumni Director.
