Full-service CPA firm EHTC will raise funds for AYA Youth Collective at its 37th Annual Chipping for Charity Golf Outing. This year’s event takes place on Tuesday, June 24, at Quail Ridge Golf Club, 8375 36th St SE in Ada. This is the first time the outing will take place at a new location since its inception.

Over the years, Chipping for Charity has resulted in more than $365,000 being invested into charitable West Michigan organizations. “With so many wonderful and worthy local causes, the recipient selection process is never easy,” said Dave Echelbarger, Managing Partner, EHTC. “We are excited to have AYA Youth Collective as our recipient this year. Their mission is deeply impactful and we’re grateful for the opportunity to support their work.”

The change in location from Scott Lake Golf & Practice Center to Quail Ridge coincides with EHTC’s 2024 office location move to Ada. “Chipping for Charity wouldn’t be what it is today without the hospitality and support of Scott Lake,” said Matt Fegan, Valuation Services Partner, EHTC. “With that said, we are excited to continue the tradition of giving back right here in Ada.”

This year’s Chipping for Charity beneficiary, AYA Youth Collective, is an organization providing circles of support for youth aged 14-24 who are facing instability and homelessness. According to their website, AYA stands for as you are, which represents a commitment to delivering housing resources and guidance as you are.

“AYA's mission is to help youth experiencing homelessness have support, stable housing, and belonging,” said Andy Allen, VP of Advancement, AYA Youth Collective. “This generosity from EHTC is beyond significant for us and will lead to continued access for local youth to access the many resources at AYA's Drop-in Center—as well as find support and mentorship by living in one of AYA's Supportive Housing homes. We are so grateful for EHTC's trust and cannot wait to put these dollars towards supporting the young people that call AYA home.”
