A new luxury juice bar is set to open in downtown Grand Rapids this summer, offering a blend of health, wellness, and community empowerment. Founded by entrepreneur and Grand Rapids native Shardaira Jones, Road to Revitalize (Rev) aims to elevate the juice bar experience with a luxurious ambiance and a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Rev is located at 125 Ottawa Ave NW, Suite 120.

Jones, who has previously experienced success in distributing her homemade juices to local grocery stores, is excited about the potential of her new venture.

"Over the past few years, I have juiced for my family and friends," said Jones. "My goal initially was to focus on pushing Rev into the local grocery stores. I got a great response from local stores like Bridge Street Market and Fresh Thyme."

The juice bar will feature a menu that includes cold-pressed, 100 percent organic juices, wellness shots, and other food items made using ingredients sourced through Farmlink, an online marketplace connecting local buyers with local foods. Rev will also grow microgreens onsite.

"You will feel a shift through the amazing environment as well as the way you are treated and the experience in each cup of juice we serve," Jones said.

Rev is currently hiring staff members who are excited about healthy food.

"As a black woman born and raised in Grand Rapids, I definitely see it as a success to go from creating juice for family and friends to opening a spot downtown,” Jones said. “This will not only serve as a hub for healthy foodies but also as a space to educate the community about food, and why, when put together properly, it can be a healing source for the body.”
