New pickleball facility opens in Grand Rapids
MVP Athletic Club has expanded its Crahen location with the addition of a new 17,000-square-foot pickleball facility, enhancing the club's amenities with 12 dedicated courts and a variety of member-exclusive programs. Located at 115 Crahen Ave NE in Grand Rapids, the facility boasts six indoor courts for year-round play and six outdoor courts available seasonally, complemented by a turf area for yard games.
The enhancement aims to meet growing member demand for pickleball while alleviating scheduling conflicts with tennis activities. "By adding additional dedicated pickleball courts, MVP can serve our members' needs while freeing up tennis courts, so they no longer need to be shared across both sports," states MVP Athletic Club's website.
MVP Crahen plans to offer a range of pickleball programs, including adult and youth instructional drills, private and group lessons, ladder leagues, and social events. Facilities will also accommodate open play, court reservations, and host tournaments.
Membership access to the new courts requires an All-Star upgrade.
