Grace's Table, a nonprofit that provides support and resources to teen moms, will host its Illuminate Hope Gala to commemorate 10 years of transformative work. The event will take place on Wednesday, October 2, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Grand Rapids Downtown Market, 435 Ionia Ave SW.

The Illuminate Hope Gala will showcase the impact of Grace's Table's decade-long commitment to supporting teen mothers and their families.

“Reflecting on the past 10 years, I am filled with immense gratitude and awe for the community that has rallied around Grace's Table, transforming it from a vision to a vibrant reality," said Lisa E. Anderson, Executive Director of Grace's Table. "Starting as a teen mom myself and experiencing firsthand the challenges of homelessness, I founded this organization with the hope of providing stability, community, and brighter futures for teen mothers. From supporting just one mama to now serving thousands, launching a second location, and beginning a residential program, I am inspired every day by the strength and resilience of our mamas. As we celebrate this milestone, I am excited to charge into the next decade with renewed hope and continued commitment to our mission.”

All proceeds will support Grace's Table's mission of providing programs, advocacy, support, and education that empower teen mothers to move from isolation into the community and embrace hope-filled futures.

“Grace's Table Gala is one of my favorite events of the year. Seeing our community rally around these incredible women fills my heart with hope. This year, you will experience inspiring art that tells stories of hope from our families, and journey through a decade together, highlighting ten years of transformative impact at Grace's Table," said Maria Curtis, Board President of Grace's Table.

Doors open at 6 p.m., with the event officially beginning at 6:30 p.m.. The dress code for the event is snappy casual. Tickets are now available for purchase at $75 per person. The ticket price includes access to an open bar, a selection of appetizers, and a celebration of Grace's Table's first decade of service.
