The Ottawa County Probate Court, located in West Olive since 1991, has relocated to the Ottawa County Courthouse in Grand Haven. Located at 414 Washington Ave, room 200, the probate court re-opened in its new location on September 24.

The Probate Court is now located on the second floor of the Ottawa County Courthouse, with the Honorable Mark A. Feyen presiding in Courtroom 2A.

Pursuant to law, a probate court should be located in the county seat, which, for Ottawa County, is Grand Haven. Ottawa County's Probate Court had instead sought and received the approval of the state court administrator to be located in West Olive. However, as the County planned to build the Family Justice Center, plans were also made to return the Ottawa County Probate Court to Grand Haven.

The Court's telephone numbers remain unchanged.
