Tone Chasers Music, a guitar shop specializing in vintage and used instruments, has opened its doors in the historic Heartside district of Grand Rapids. Located at 121 S Division Ave, the store offers a curated selection of high-quality, rare, and collectible guitars, amps, effects, drums, basses, and analog synthesizers.

As the only local dealer that exclusively handles used equipment, Tone Chasers Music is dedicated to serving musicians of all levels, from beginners to professionals and collectors.

“We want anyone who loves guitar in our store; from beginners to professional musicians and collectors. We appeal to the individual who has a passion for music and history,” said Paul Bittner, Founder, Tone Chasers Music. “We have the gear that you’re not going to find anywhere else, from rare and collectible guitars, amps, and effects, to the coolest metal gear you can think of.”

Founded by Bittner in 2019, Tone Chasers Music offers a unique shopping experience, providing instruments typically only found in larger cities. The shop’s Heartside location was chosen for its old vintage charm, aligning perfectly with its aesthetic and mission.

“We chose this location for the building’s old vintage charm. The building and surrounding area play into exactly what we are all about. We are surrounded by music, art, and other great vintage shops,” Bittner said.

Nearby spaces at 117 and 115 Division Ave are currently available for lease.

In addition to vintage guitars, Tone Chasers Music also sells used drums, basses, and analog synthesizers and offers expert repair services. The store’s current soft opening will culminate in an official grand opening celebration in mid-October. For more information, visit https://reverb.com/shop/tonechasersmusic.
